About Arts Peak

Noreen Schroder, Owner, Instructor & Mural Artist

Noreen was recognized as being artistically gifted in elementary school in her small hometown of Walnut, Iowa and she has been creating ever since. After High School she received her bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and then taught High School Art for 23 years. During that time, she continued making and selling her own art.

Noreen has dabbled in mural painting for decades, but most recently she has drawn and painted sidewalk murals and anamorphic art at festivals throughout the country, including The Denver Chalk Art Festival in which she was awarded 1st place in 2022. Arts Peak has several murals by Noreen in which you can interact with for fun pictures and pretend adventures. She feels Art should be enjoyed, not just looked at. Along with this extensive background in the visual arts, Noreen has taught and performed in the theater arts.

She is looking forward to bringing her fun, encouraging and entertaining way of helping you create with Arts Peak.
